Who is Freddy Funko? A Virtual Tour of the Coolest Freddy Room and Funko Gallery at our Showroom

Who is Freddy Funko? A Virtual Tour of the Coolest Freddy Room and Funko Gallery at our Showroom

Picture this: you're alone, wandering the desert of the vast world of pop culture collecting. It seems that everywhere you turn is more and more sand, each grain containing yet another impossible-to-parse world of information. In the distance, you see... some dude with orange hair?

Welcome to Ozzie Collectors, weary traveller. Consider this your one stop shop full of all the info you need to immerse yourself in the world of collectibles. Whether you're here in person or joining us from afar, we're excited to introduce you to the Ozzie Vault, the newest and coolest room at our official showroom. Join us on a tour of some of the rarest Funko grails and vaulted Pop! pieces - and, of course, the Freddy gallery. Keep scrolling!

This is the room in all its glory. ICYMI, we opened the showroom back in November of 2021, and the Freddy Room, or Vault Room, is constantly changing. We always recommend visiting in person if you can make it to appreciate the room and some of its show-stopping pieces. We understand it's not exactly a hop across the pond for all collectors, though (unless you consider the pond to be the Atlantic Ocean), so we wanted to showcase some of our faves to our collectors from far and wide! To see each featured item and learn a little more about the world of Funko and Freddy on the way, keep scrolling.

Note: These values have been derived from Hobby DB approximate last sales value as of September 2021, however these prices may not be accurate due to the sheer rarity of the items and lack of sales data. But you can't put a price on collecting ;) (Unless you're on a shopping spree...)

A brief history of Freddy Funko...

The man, the myth, the legend. In 1998, a man known as the Fun Maker decided he had a dream: to live in a world where everyone could be a fan of something. Together, Mika and Claudia created a small company out of Washington to produce bobblehead toys and low-tech, nostalgia-themed collectables.

Then, in 2002, it happened: Freddy first hit shelves. Starting out as a Wacky Wobbler, the orange-haired and crown-wielding mascot quickly became the popular face of the brand!

Since then, there have been more than two decades full of new releases, collectable toy lines, and a whole world of pop culture fun introduced by CEO Brian Mariotti and millions of fans.

One thing remains constant: collectors just can't get enough of Freddy!
