As a small business, we are always striving to provide efficient and high-quality service. We process all orders in the chronological order in which they are placed and ensure that all orders are thoroughly inspected for quality control before shipping. As such, we currently do not offer next-day shipping, nor are we currently able to expedite the processing period which each order is required to undergo before moving onto the shipping stage.
Currently, the average processing period for all in-stock orders is 3-5 business days. A business day is Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm and does not include weekends or public holidays. If your order is placed towards the end of the day or outside of business hours, it will typically begin processing on the next available business day. Please note that certain factors including public holidays, peak periods such as Comic Con, sales and the holidays, and unexpected supplier delays (for example as a result of Covid-19 related shipping and logistics hold-ups) may affect this standard turnaround time and as such we ask that you remain patient as our team will provide full tracking details as soon as your order is ready to leave our warehouse. After your order has been processed, picked and packed at our warehouse, we will provide full tracking information to you via email. You will be able to track your order's progress by either checking back with your Australia Post link or by downloading the Shop app. For the most accurate tracking updates, we ask that you wait at least 24 hours before checking back regularly with your Australia Post tracking link, along with any additional emails from Ozzie Collectables.
The average shipping time will vary within Australia from state-to-state and based on a variety of factors for overseas shipping. Currently we do offer the option of express shipping for both domestic and international orders. Note that express orders must still undergo the 3-5 business day processing period before leaving our warehouse. Your order will then be express shipped via Australia Post, whose average shipping times can vary based on location. Please note that this shipping time frame, including express orders, can fluctuate, and we strongly recommend checking with the Australia Post website for the most up-to-date indication of your shipping time frame.
After leaving our warehouse, the average minimum shipping time within Australia is as follows:
VIC - 2-5 business days
ACT - 3-5 business days
NSW - 3-6 business days
NT - 7-10 business days
QLD - 4-7 business days
SA - 4-6 business days
TAS - 5-7 business days
Your Australia Post tracking number, once updated, should give you an ETA or date range for your estimated delivery. As advised by Australia Post, the majority of parcels arrive within about one week of this date. We appreciate your patience and hope your parcel reaches you asap.
You can find the most up-to-date average shipping times for international parcels via the Australia Post website. As a general rule, we find that these parcels can take up to 25+ business days due to a variety of factors and potential delays, especially in regards to Covid-19 processes and border closures. We recommend keeping an eye on your tracking and greatly appreciate your patience.
If you feel your parcel has been significantly delayed past its expected date, the Ozzie Collectables team can help you launch an investigation with Australia Post. However as delays can be unfortunately common (these past few years more than ever) we ask that you allow enough time for the parcel to be recovered by Australia Post and to reach you in a suitable amount of time before attempting to open any sort of investigation. These time frames are based on the average delay times that the Ozzie Collectables team have found to have occurred. For domestic parcels, we recommend waiting at least 1-2 months before starting an investigation. For international parcels, we recommend waiting at least 2-3 months. After an investigation has been launched by the team at Ozzie Collectables we ask that you allow a minimum of 14 business days for us to hear back from Australia Post. In the event that your parcel is determined to have been lost in transit we will issue a full refund or re-ship of your parcel.
Note that Ozzie Collectables will be closed during public holiday dates for Melbourne, Australia including the weeks of Easter and Christmas. You can find an up-to-date indication of our trading hours via Google. During these public holidays you may not be able to expect a response from our support staff, and any orders placed on or around public holidays will commence processing on the next available business day.
