A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game is a competitive miniatures game for two or more players. Each player controls one of the Great Houses of Westeros, commanding battlefield units, recruiting legendary Heroes, and manipulating the political stage, in the attempt to claim the greatest prize of all: The Iron Throne.
The bustling city of King's Landing is generally considered a safe place to live. The secrets are regularly patrolled by the Gold Cloaks, named for their distinctive garb. They can be seen almost everywhere in the city, keeping the peace, and ensuring rule-of-law as per the king's orders. More specifically, to Lannister ordwers. Though technically under the control of the king, with the Lannister's deep coffers, they often just happen to be absent when any Lannistr is breaking the king's own law, or appear out of nowhere to preserve a Lannister's life or purse (much the same thing).
