A wave of darkness engulfs the icy wastes, devouring everything in its path like a tide of absolute nothingness. This phenomenon, known as the Vornaya Event, heralds the arrival of the Meld: an intelligent nanite entity, a sentient hive of extraterrestrial origin.
The Meld's Nanites are both a threat and an invaluable resource. They allow for the exploration of new technological horizons, repairing and reshaping themselves into any imaginable form of technology.
As chaos erupts, a cold war erupts between DronTek and the Stefanus Corporation, both desperate to seize this newfound power. Caught in the middle of the conflict, the people of Vornaya are reduced to mere pawns in a battle beyond their control.
You play as battle-hardened Salvagers, navigating warring factions and conflict zones, where there's always an opportunity to get your hands dirty. But when the smoke clears, will you still be able to face your own destiny?
