History and Origin The F-35A is an American single-seat, single-engine, multi-role fifth-generation fighter aircraft developed as part of the international Joint Strike Fighter program. F-35A "HUSARZ" – Polish Version In 2024, the Ministry of National Defense officially named the Polish F-35 "Husarz," emphasizing its role as a modern knight of the skies. Deliveries of 32 aircraft will continue until 2030 – the first units were delivered to Ebbing Air Force Base in the USA, and will later be stationed in Lask and Swidwin. The F-35 Husarz is intended to replace the aging MiG-29 and Su-22, responding to the threat posed by the Russian Su-35 and Su-57.
