The Duke is a dynamic tile-based strategy game that transports you to a feudal world of bygone eras. At its heart is an innovative mechanism involving double-sided game pieces.
Each side of a tile represents a different stance – usually defensive or offensive – and shows exactly what the figure can do on that turn. At the end of a move or after using a special ability, the tile is flipped over to reveal a new offensive or defensive stance.
Thus, the action on the game board changes with every move, and forward planning becomes the key to victory.
