Wood Whisperers - Daisy

Daisy is one of the Daytime Bells of the Fairy Academy, a graceful performer whose movements echo through the forest like morning light filtering between leaves. This 75mm fairy dancer miniature is produced in high quality casted and 3D print resin, preserving the flowing shapes of her garments, the ornate patterns sculpted across her wings and the dynamic energy of her pose. As part of Luca Marchetti’s Wood Whisperers project, Daisy represents the playful, radiant spirit of the Academy’s diurnal students.

Her pose captures that exact moment in which dance becomes flight. One foot touches the curled stem below her, while the other is suspended mid-air, keeping the entire figure in a state of fluid motion. Her layered fabrics twist naturally around the body, offering painters opportunities for complex lighting, saturated blends or soft transitions. The broad butterfly wings, curved in multiple directions, add surface variety and allow experiments with texture, reflections or storytelling details.

The sculpt is designed to work both as a standalone centrepiece and as part of a larger Wood Whisperers display.
