A battle-proven icon of the Adeptus Astartes arsenal, the Predator Destructor is the original and most enduring pattern of the Predator main battle tank — a design whose origins stretch back to the Dark Age of Technology, forged in direct response to humanity's earliest and most brutal encounters with the Ork race. Built upon the venerable Rhino chassis, the Predator sacrifices its troop-carrying capacity entirely in exchange for massively reinforced frontal armour and a devastating heavy weapons platform.
At its heart is the fearsome Syrtis Pattern Autocannon — mounted in a fully traversable turret and fitted with an automatic ammunition feed, muzzle flash suppressor, and discharge extractor — its explosive rounds, each larger than a Space Marine's fist, capable of tearing through massed infantry formations and shredding light vehicles with equal contempt. Flanking it on either side, the sponson-mounted Godwyn-Tadcoke Pattern Heavy Bolters pour out a relentless storm of mass-reactive bolts to shred anything that dares approach the tank's flanks.
