'Tis the eve, the doors of the Green Dragon stand open, and within there is comfort enough for all.
Weta Workshop designer Gus Hunter depicts the Green Dragon Inn on a warm afternoon, where hobbits have gathered to relax amongst shared food and drink. It is a time of peace, far from the troubles and worries of Middle-earth; a place of simple pleasures and homely delights.
This moment has been expertly captured by Gus Hunter: long-time Wētā Workshop conceptual designer who started on The Lord of The Rings trilogy alongside Jeremy Bennett and was an early adopter of the digital painting techniques Weta Workshop uses today.
