Set over a hundred years before The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the film reveals the harsh history of the Rohirrim™, in an iconic animated style.
The Helm of King Helm is a testament to the expertise and passion of our seasoned Middle-earth artisans.
Building upon what was designed for The War of the Rohirrim, Wētā Workshop concept artist Daniel Falconer reimagined the helmet from the original 2D animation as a fully functional piece of armour, worn and battle-scarred by history. Expert sculptor Shaun Bolton then crafted the design in clay, breathing life into every ridge, dent, and worn edge with the authenticity only decades of experience could provide.
Having both worked on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Falconer and Bolton have channelled their dedication to Middle-earth into this intricate relic—capturing not only the might of King Helm but also the timeless legacy of Rohan.
